Border marker 59 Once stood on the edge of a field on the river Esch, but is no longer there. Why is not clear to me. Now to be found at the Steinfort municipal yard. The post is sandblasted and therefore gray.

Border marker 67 Once stood along the road between Grass and Kleinbettingen. Probably removed from there due to road widening. Now to be found together with 59 at the Steinfort municipal yard. The post is sandblasted and therefore gray. There are plans to replace this pole at its original location.

Border marker 68 Not far from 67 along the road between Grass and Kleinbettingen. Now to be found in the free-to-access museum Draï Eechelen in Luxembourg city.

Border marker 69 The pole had to make way for the construction of the E25 between Arlon and Luxembourg. The top of the pole can now be found, just like LB 226, in the Customs Museum in Luxembourg - Hamm (Rue de Bitbourg). The museum is open by appointment only. During the 'Bornes sans frontière' tour, border marker icon Harry ten Veen poses at the pole.

Border marker 70 Also disappeared during construction of E25. No clue where the pole is now. Photo border without post: September 2006

Border marker 166 Along the main road in Martelange near the Esso gas station. Pole is gone. Would be stored in a municipal depot somewhere in Belgium, but where is not clear. Maybe we will find it one day, because Jos Goergen is going after it. Photo border without post: May 2022 |

Border marker 213 Once stood in the woods along a stream. Has now disappeared. The only thing we found with the help of a metal detector were remains of the Belgian lion. Seen here on the spot where 213 once stood. Photo Belgian lion: April 2021 |

Upper part of border marker 214 Boundary post 214 is located along a stream but the upper part is missing. That was back in 2004 when we found the pole on its side for the first time. The upper part appears to be in a nearby living room, but the resident does not want to make himself known for fear of publicity. Yet there are images of it, from a television series about two men who cycled along the entire border by MTB. It seems certain that this is really the top part of 214 according to experts Jos Goergen and Nicolas Schmit: the fault lines between the coat of arms (lower part) and the crown above the coat of arms (upper part) correspond.

Border marker 226 Once stood along the main road between Bastogne and Ettelbruck, but a motorist knocked over the pole. The pole has been removed to prevent recurrence. Now the pole, like number 69, stands in the customs museum in Luxembourg Hamm. In 2004 we no longer found the pole along the road. In 1998, however, Christian Willemot photographed the pole.

Border marker 257 Once stood west of the town of Troine on the corner of this meadow. It had already disappeared in 2004. Not clear where it is now. Photo border without post: May 2004

Border marker 276 In 2004 this pole was still in its original place in the meadow northwest of Troisvierges, but it is no longer there. According to Jos Goergen, the pole has been on the Troisvierges municipal site since 2020 Perhaps a photo of this temporary place will follow.
