Bordermarkers 210 - 201
We reach the highest top in the area, the Vetrova skala and then we go down to lower grounds. Again we will meet some Ukrainian soldiers.

Still between Inovce and Petrovce.

Border marker 201
We almost reach the highest point in the area. Sunny but cold. On the second picture you see a watchtower on the background. It's Slovakian and I think it's the only Slovakian watchtower on this border. Of course the location is well chosen, it gives an overview over the whole area. The tower is not accessable for tourists.

Border marker 202
At the top of the Vetrova skala. The real top is a bit more to the right. Strange enough this top is rather flat.

Cross
This highest point is a place of interest. It looks as if there is no border here. On the Ukrainian side there is a cross with text in Ukrainian and text in Slovakian. I don't know much about its history. The place can be visited from Slovakian side although it's a long way up from civilization. I wonder if and how the place can reached from Ukrainian side as there is a 'no-go' zone in Ukraine.
I also wonder what the authorities will do when you cross here the border, just to go over to the cross. Most likely it will be tolerated but I wouldn't bet on it.

Cross 2
The text on the cross is in Ukrainian, the cross is on Ukrainian ground as well. The text on the cross mentions that the cross was placed in 2011 and blessed in 2012 by a greek catholic priest.

Border marker 203
Close to the cross and the highest point we found BM 203. The inspection path runs over Ukrainian ground.

Back to normal: a clear inspection path on the Slovakian side

Border marker 206
Notice the smoke in the forest. Some Ukrainian soldiers had a tent and a fire there. Their dog noticed us. They came to us but as we were on the safe side, they were friendly and made no problem. It's a pity that communication is almost impossible. On our way back in the afternoon they still were there and waved to us.

Border marker 210
The marker on the border itself is very small here and contains a redd cross. This means it's a tri-angulated point which is also marked on the official map.
