Bordermarkers 131 - 140
The last part between Ulic and Ubl'a / Ublya river where we cross the border crossing to Малий Березний. Then it goes up again towards Ruský Hrabovec and Inovce.

Map 131-140
Starting on a hill, ending at the river Ublianka.

Border marker 131
The border line goes down here very steep. We go down in the direction of Ubl'a, where there is also the river Ublianka is crossing the border.

Border marker 134
We come in the vicinity of the border crossing Ubl'a / Малий Березний, one of the two border crossings where cars can cross.
Somewhere here the fences to avoid illegal border crossing start. We were allowed to take the 'wrong' side of the fence, which means no fence between us and the border. But also only little space to move.

Border marker 135
On this picture you see clear our little space to move as it's not allowed to be left of the small white marker.

Border marker 135-2
Here is was really hard to stay on the small strip and not to enter Ukraine due to the steep and slippery path. We had to pull our selves on the fences. As these fences have moving detectors, we were definitly noticed in some control room. But without any unpleasant consequences.

Border marker 136
You see our little space to move: between the small white marker and the fence. But we succeeded.

An example of:
Most people follow long roads and sometimes they are confronted with crossing a border.
... I follow long borders and sometimes I'm confronted with crossing a road...

We reached Ubl'a. Funny to notice that border crossing is possible. In my understanding there is always empty space and a hugh barier between the two border markers.
But not here.

Border marker 138
Here it was not possible to stay on the safe side of the border. However, as we started today's tour here, we were guided by a very friendly border guard and this was not a problem. In general the authorities are not that strict and the cooperate very well, we noticed later.

Border marker 139
From the border crossing road to the river Ublianka is only a few hundred meters. Here we had to stay on the safe side of the fence.

THe last one before the river,

Border marker 140-2
The river Ublianka. The end of first day of this trip in October 2019.
