Map 0081-0090 From Bulboaca via endless fields to the next village Clocușna.
	Border marker 0081 The last border marker of our march 2025 expedition. Before the Soviet Union fell, this was a main road, but now it is closed. There is no traffic, the road is not maintained and is blocked. A rather sad sight. Next Moldova - Ukraine expedition: August 2025
	Border marker 0082 In Augsut 2025 the area looked very green. In the late afternoon sun I found this pair betrween the fields.
	Border marker 0083 On Ukrainian side a fresh ditch.
	Border marker 0084 At every border marker there is an open space in the bush.
	Border marker 0085 Still in the afternoon sun. When I was finding a good postition for a picture an Ukrainian border guard who came out of nothing saw me from a distance: "Контроль?" he asked. "Да, контроль!" I answered quickly. I wore blue pants and a blue polo shirt, so I guess he assumed I was a Moldovan colleague.

	Border marker 0086 The border makes a sharp angle here The border runs through a low and wet part full of reed.
	Border marker 0087 The start of the second day of the August 2025 expedition. Again huge fields on both sides of the border.
	Border marker 0088 From 0087 to here I had to hike as the farmers road ended there. Again a nice view. Strange enough at BM 0087 and BM 0088 the border is a straight line. A bit up to the north, the border makes an angle which is only covered by a intermediate marker.
	Border marker 0089 Back to the first expedition in April 2025: We started at this border marker pair along the closed road between Clocușna and Hvizdivtsi. When we arrived here, two of Igors colleagues with a Kalashnikov appeared. They were talking while I was taking some pictures. I wonder when this road was closed. In 1991 Moldova and Ukraine got independent from the Sovjet Union. I guess the road was closed shortly after these independencies like the road at BM 0081.
	Border marker 0089 (2) In summer 2025 I visited this marker in Clocușna as well. The area changed. On Ukrainian side extra bared wire.
	Border marker 0090 The border runs short along the Ukrainian village Hvizdivtsi.
	Border marker 0090-01 Some very old and creaky fence with bared wire has to prevent you from illegal border crossing. On the background a sandy road, not a sand strip. You don't see that much sand strips here. On the second picture my guide Igor. Next page >>
