When you look at the map, you know why it's called Saatse boot.
In a few years the State border might run differently and the boot might be disappeared.
When the swap will be effected, I centrainly will visit the area once again.

There is not much activity in Saatse Boot. When you look at air pictures, you see wood, one medow and one shed. I wonder who is farming here.

A straight line. Only old traces of machines. It looks like the borderzone is not that well maintained here anymore. As if Russia already gave up this area.

Entering a swampy area now with on the left even a lake. I was afraid I had to amke a long detour but there is an old gangboard which guided
me direct to 455.

A view to the east where I came from. The border makes a 90 degrees angle here.

The border makes a very sharp angle here. From this point you can follow the two straight lines.
Now the border goes back in the direction of the Estonian road.
