Lithuania - Russia IV

Still in Vištytis. I walked along the inspection road to the north. Left of me the border with Russia, right of me the office of the border guard service. I hiked about one kilometer and then I turned back to my car.

III-1 20140407 Borderpoles 3.2
About 100 meters from the previous pair I found this second pair. Again with provisional number on the Lithuanian copy. The friendly looking palistrade turned into a real dangerous fence.
III-1 20140407 Going north
View from the path to the north. On the Russian side there is an open space. The fence bends to the left to create a no-go zone on the Russian side of the border.
III-1 20140407 Borderpole 3.3
Some hunderds meter ahead I ofund this Lithuanian borderpole 3.3. No Russian copy yet.
III-1 20140407 Borderpole 3.4
The same for 3.4. Only a marker on the border and a Lithuanian pole.
III-1 20140407 Looking back
A view to the south. On the left the border guard office. When I was hiking and photographing along the border they should have noticed me, but they didn't. No one came to me.
III-1 20140407 Borderpoles 3.5 and 3.5a
The border makes a short but sharp angle here. I didn't recognize this bending on the map.
III-1 20140407 Borderpole 3.6
Not far from the previous one I found this 3.6.
III-1 20140407 Borderpole 3.7
...followed by 3.7. I wonder when the Russian copies will be placed.
III-1 20140407 Borderpole 3.8
I took this picture from the north side of the pole, so Lithuania is on the left now.
III-1 20140407 Borderpole 3.9
The last pole that I saw here. It was getting a bit late and I wanted to see some parts of the border at Kybartai before it was dark. It would have been better if had had hiked one kilometer more, then I had seen the single borderpoles (next pictuer) but I didn't know that yet. I hiked back to the car. When I arrived there two border guards just came from the office on their way to the speedboat in the lake. They asked where I came from. I explained what I did and showed my permission. It was all right.
III-1 20140407 Single borderpole I
The road to Kybartai comes very close to the border, about two kilometers north of Vištytis. I saw two different border poles and stopped to see them. This is an new type of borderpole, which is placed on the border itself. I like the designs and te colors. It's a bit similar to some single poles between Lithuanina and Belarus.
On the Lithuanian side it sais "Росси́я" (Russia). I'm sure on the Russian side it's written "Lietuva" or "Lietuvos Respublika" but I think I will never see this side.
III-1 20140407 Single borderpole II
A second copy is located about 60 meter to the north.
